Jared joined the law firm of Goldstein Hayes & Lina, LLC in 2013, after spending the first six years of his legal career at large national law firms litigating complex commercial disputes. For over a decade, Jared’s law practice has been focused on wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases, trucking accidents, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability cases, medical negligence, toxic torts, environmental contamination and products liability.
Jared has achieved numerous 7-figure and 8-figure victories for his clients in matters against corporations, hospitals and insurance companies. Jared is recognized annually by his peers and by multiple publications as one of the top personal injury attorneys in Atlanta. Jared is regularly asked to speak as a legal expert regarding topics such as trial strategy, personal injury cases and toxic tort claims. Jared takes great pride in communicating with his clients, becoming intimately familiar with the facts of each case, and devising a case-specific strategy to maximize recovery for each of his clients. Jared takes great pride in getting to know his clients and giving them the individual attention they need.
Prior to his legal career, Jared worked as a television producer at ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut. Jared graduated from Duke University with degrees in Economics and Psychology, and later graduated in the top-5 in his class from the Georgia State University College of Law.
Jared lives in Atlanta with his wife and two daughters. Jared served as a Board member for Camp Sea Gull and Seafarer for many years, currently serves on the Board of his high school in Pinehurst, N.C., and remains active in the Duke University Alumni network in Atlanta.
Awards and Honors
Since 2020, Jared has been recognized annually by his peers as a Georgia Super Lawyer – an honor bestowed upon the top 5% of attorneys in the State of Georgia. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2018, Jared was recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer “Rising Star”, which is awarded to the top Georgia lawyers under the age of 40. Jared also was honored as a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40, and more recently as one of Americas Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys®. Prior to practicing as an attorney, Jared won 3 Emmy Awards for his work as a television producer at ESPN.
Graduating from law school in the top 10 of his class, Attorney Jared Lina was selected for inclusion in Georgia Super Lawyers ® in 2020-2021 and Georgia Super Lawyers ® Rising Stars ℠ in 2011 – 2018.
